A New Supplier

I really enjoyed the other candle wax supplier I had, but I did find another one that I have decided to officially use for my products. There is more apricot than coconut and it seems like it makes quite a change. It doesn't take as long for the scent to throw when lit. In less than a few minutes, you could smell it. The scent is still about a standard room, but it seems to spread a bit further than usual. I've made a candle with woodwicks for all of my scents to test. So far, Tamlin isn't too fond of woodwicks. It's very strong so I'll have to woodwick down from .02/.75. It also seems to be discoloring, but not as bad as some of the others. I might leave it without dye. Tamlin is very good with CDN 8, but this was the other supplier. So I will be doing different tests still. Break is doing wonderful with 8%. It's using .02/.75 but there is a lot discoloration. I'm sure it's the vanillin. Break will have to be colored.

I've made other candles, but I'm still testing Break and Tamlin for woodwick. I have to let them burn until the end so I can see if they are producing soot or not. It's gonna be a long testing phase, but it'll be worth it.
